The project 

As an HR service provider, HR Campus thrives on the trust of its customers. Data protection and the handling of sensitive data form the basis for HR services of all kinds. Therefore, HR Campus desired a data protection GAP analysis, as an external confirmation of compliance with all applicable requirements as well as for long-term optimization of data protection. The analysis was based on the EU GDPR, the new Federal Act on Data Protection Act (nFADP), the EU-US Data Privacy Law as well as the NIST Privacy Framework and ISACA Privacy Principles.

The goal: To obtain external confirmation of compliance with the EU GDPR and to ensure that HR Campus can continue to meet data protection requirements properly in the future.

The process: Adnovum has analyzed HR Campus' current situation with regard to data protection. For this purpose, it conducted interviews and examined various subject areas for compliance with data protection requirements, e.g. communication, organization, access, legal measures, processes and design, consent, technical and organizational measures. The assessment was based on common relevant standards and the tried and tested EU-GDPR implementation plan developed by Adnovum.

The result: HR Campus is assured that it complies with data protection requirements according to the EU-GDPR and with other relevant standards and that it is protected from reputational damage, litigation and fines.
