What you’re going to do

You are well-acquainted with the insurance market and have an affinity for digital solutions. On this basis you will expand the current client project business of the Market Unit «Insurance» by building up a new product business with its own scalable market services. The market for digital solutions for insurance companies is constantly evolving. Now you have the chance to be a major part of this development and actively shape innovation culture by helping Adnovum broaden its strategic offering.

You will establish a relevant network of insurance clients, partners, advisors, and InsurTechs, and make efficient use of the current one. During your activities and employment of innovation methods, you will be assisted by other team members such as Customer Research and work closely with the Technology and Innovation Team and your peers in the other Market Units. In the role of Intrapreneur (80-100%), you will have the following responsibilities:

• Recognizing concrete business potential at the business/IT interface that arises from the challenges on the insurance market
• Developing scalable products and business models
• Initiating, accompanying, and executing innovation projects for the insurance market (end-to-end responsibility)
• Building up and communicating through strategic partnerships with clients, consultancy firms, InsurTechs, brokers, associations, etc. to jointly develop insurance solutions (co-creation)
• Developing content for marketing initiatives and collaborating with the marketing team on blog posts, campaigns, and events/webinars

• Pronounced entrepreneurial mindset and strong can-do attitude
• Several years of experience in developing new products and successful go-to-market strategies
• Practical experience in the employment of current innovation methods
• Proven success in launching new products or start-ups
• Extensive network in the Swiss insurance industry
• Natural passion for setting up new business
• Affinity for digital solutions and services, as well as an interest in modern technologies, methods, and their application
• Strong negotiation skills, communication skills, service- and client-oriented mindset and work approach
• Goal-oriented work approach and mindset, as well as high self-reliance
• Fluent in German and English
