What you're going to do

Our internal IT is organized around SAFe and consists of approximately 50 members who design, develop, maintain and support our wide variety of internal IT services. Distributed over five international teams, the services range from proprietary applications, hosted and cloud applications, on-prem and cloud IT platform technologies to services around office and workplaces. As Release Train Engineer, you act as agile coach for the internal Group IT Services & Solutions unit. Your main responsibilities include facilitating the ART events and processes as well as assisting the teams in delivering value. You continuously communicate with teams, escalate impediments, help to manage risks and drive relentless improvement. Together with Business Owners, Product Owners and other stakeholders you help to ensure strategy and execution alignment. You act as process authority within the unit. In your daily work, you will:

  • Coach leaders, teams and Scrum Master in lean agile practices
  • Establish, communicate and facilitate annual calendars events for iterations and program increments
  • Report, measure and grow organization by applying agile and ITSM metrics
  • Improve flow by assessing practices associated with DevOps
  • Foster communities of practices and the use of engineering and built-in quality practices
  • Develop talent by educating and training of general skills
  • Drive relentless improvement via workshops and assessments

What we're looking for

  • Diploma as Informatiker EFZ or degree in computer science, business informatics, or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and in managing of IT-related projects and services
  • Methodological competence in support and operations processes such as ITIL
  • Lean agile and analytical mindset and quick comprehension
  • Great motivational and excellent communication skills as agile coach for the SAFe organization
  • Fluent in English, German of advantage
