What you're going to do

In interdisciplinary and international project teams we build innovative and pioneering software solutions for our clients. For our Market Unit Public Sector, we are looking for a Bid Manager (m/f) to expand the team. In this role you will support a small team of highly motivated Account Managers, Business Developers and Salespeople. As part of the team, you will make a valuable contribution to winning new contracts. With your structured way of working and your winning, positive manner, you will maintain an overview even in hectic situations. In addition to a highly dynamic work environment with flat hierarchies and a unique work culture in which we value personal input and opinions and tackle new challenges together and grow from them, the following tasks await you:

  • Development and assurance of the quality of offers and WTO tenders in close cooperation with the Account Manager, Business Developer and the Sales team
  • Coordination of the work and ensuring compliance with the specified deadlines with the bid team
  • Active handling of the bidding platforms (SIMAP)
  • Independent preparation of offers
  • Responsibility for formal and structural correctness, timely completion, and high quality of quotes, inserts and artifacts
  • Continuous development and expansion of the offer and reference library, text, and calculation templates
  • Active maintenance of the CRM solution (Salesforce), incl. lead pipeline
  • Administration of smaller projects (controlling, reporting, billing)
  • Assistance with the planning of client appointments (pre- and post-processing)
  • Support in the execution of events (SPOC to marketing)
  • Ongoing analysis of internal processes, procedures, and workflows; implementing ideas to increase efficiency and quality

What we're looking for

  • Completed commercial or comparable training
  • Experience with projects in an IT environment
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Practical experience in the preparation of offers/tenders
  • Independent, structured, and proactive working style
  • Quick comprehension and you keep a clear head in hectic situations
  • Strong communication skills in German and English (spoken and written, French as a plus)
